Behold this spectacular 1,111 carat diamond that was recently unearthed in Botswana by Canadian miners. The massive treasure is said to be the world’s second largest diamond EVER!
Measuring 65 by 56 by 40 millimeters in size it is almost the size of a tennis ball. Named as a IIa category makes up among only one or two percent of all natural diamonds on the planet.
Recovered by Lucara Diamond Corp., the company’s magnificent discovery was the focus of a press release.
